Located in San Jose’s Environmental Innovation Center on Las Plumas Ave, between Maubry Rd and McKee Rd, you’ll find our Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

True to its name, Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in San Jose restores the life of donated gently used furniture, appliances, home décor, and building materials by selling them at a fraction of their retail costs.

All proceeds from ReStore San Jose are turned into support for Habitat for Humanity’s programs and services that empower thousands of Bay Area neighbors to achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through housing. how to donate to ReStore San Jose

When you donate to ReStore, you’ll feel good knowing you’re supporting Habitat for Humanity and our planet. By donating those used appliances from your recent home remodel, a couch you don’t have room for, or that office furniture your company no longer needs, you’re diverting useable materials from our landfills. In fact, ReStore donors diverted over 5,500 TONS of materials from landfills in 2021 alone.

  1. First, make sure your donation meets our donation criteria. To ensure we can provide ReStore customers with a diverse inventory of quality products at an affordable price, we have strict criteria for what donations we’re able to accept.  ReStore accepts donations of used furniture, appliances, tools and building materials, lighting, and more. Donations must be in good condition meaning donations are not damaged, broken, rotten, or missing parts.  Click here to read our full list of accepted items.
  2. Then, you can drop off your donation directly at our ReStore location in San Jose Wednesday – Sunday between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. or complete a request for a FREE donation pick-up!
