Artists, Vendors, and Special Guests at the Oakland ReUse Fair
Upcylers, crafters, and DIY enthusiasts will be hosting informational booths and demonstrations, and offering their salvage art for sale.
Each of these organizations and artists will bring something unique to share at the ReUse Fair, so come check it out!
Ace Monster Toys – Maker space providing tools and resources for DIY hackers and crafters to build, teach, and collaborate.
Green Sheds – Green business re-purposing used construction materials to create a range of structures, from garden sheds to home offices.
Mirrored Mind Design – Creative recycling artist Rachel Lynn Hernandez.
Bio-Link Depot – Nonprofit providing donated lab supplies for educators.
Visions Paints – Recycled Paint company offering high-quality recycled paints, DIY painting tips, and live demonstrations.
Thndur1 – Reuse artist with a unique style: vinyl records painted while on a spinning turntable.
AC Art – Abstract reuse art and jewelry designer.
Go Box – Green business taking an innovative new approach to recycling in the field of restaurant takeout.
The ReUse People of America – Construction salvage warehouse saving quality reusable materials from landfills.
Goodwill – Internationally renowned donation centers accepting clothing and household items, and giving them a second life.
Special Guest: Johnathan Brewer of Home Made Simple!
We are also excited to announce a special guest demonstrator: General Contractor and DIY Expert Johnathan Brewer! Johnathan is an Oakland firefighter with his own general contracting business, Brewer Builds. When he’s not in Oakland, you might find him renovating homes on the set of “Home Made Simple” on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
